Movie: Interstellar

Interstellar is a 2014 science fiction film directed by Christopher Nolan. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Mackenzie Foy and Michael Caine, the film features a team of astronauts who travel through a w in search of a new habitable planet. Brothers Christopher and Jonathan Nolan wrote the film, merging a script Jonathan developed in 2007 with Christopher's ideas.

Interstellar follows humanity’s last-ditch effort to find a new habitable planet – after Earth is ravaged by environmental catastrophe. When former NASA pilot-turned-corn farmer Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) finds the coordinates to a top secret government project, he’s brought in on the secret that the government has secretly been working to send a crew through a recently discovered wormhole in the hopes that humankind can find refuge in a new galaxy. However, in order to help save the remaining people on Earth, Cooper must leave his own family behind – and journey into unknown regions of space.

I want to watch movie Interstellar!! I expect too much.

Kyoto is traditional city!!

Kyoto

       Kyoto is traditional city full of historic attractions and good food. Kyoto is Japan’s third largest city and also its oldest. Kyoto is located in the central part of the island of Honshu, Japan. It has a population close to 1.5 million. It was founded in 794. Kyoto is well known for old-fashioned temples, exciting festivals and traditional food. First, famous Kyoto food is Kaiseki ryori. It is made with local and seasonal ingredients of Kyoto. We feel the original flavor. Second, the exciting festival of Kyoto is Aoi Matsuri. The Aoi Matsuri is one of the three main annual festival. It is held on May 15th of each year. Finally, Kyoto tower was built in 1964. It is a good observation deck that is 131 meters high. Other than three attractions, Kyoto has many attractions.

      Kyoto Imperial Palace is one of the most stylish and beautiful castle. It is located in the wide surrounds of Kyoto Imperial Park. The Kyoto Imperial Palace was the palace of the Emperor of Japan until 1869. Also, the palace is situated in the Kyoto-gyoen, a large square enclosure 1.3Km north to south and 0.7Km East to West. Even the main buildings of the Kyoto Imperial Palace still exist. Among other halls, there are the Shishin-den, Seiryo-den, Ko-gosho and o-gakumonjo. The Kyoto Gosho and Sento Gosho are surrounded by the wide Kyoto Imperial Palace Park, that is planted with a variety of flowering trees. Take some time to visit the park which contains most wonderful plum and cherry-blossom. There are many things to see in the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

       Fushimi Inari-taisha is a historical Inari shrine in Kyoto. It is located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto. It was built in 711, and it’s main structures were built in 1499. Fushimi Inari is famous for its amazing sight of some 10,000 small shrine gate. It takes about two hours to walk along the whole trail, and there are nice views of Kyoto from the top. The shrine is visited 2.69 million people for 3 days of worship over the Japanese New Year. Fushimi Inari is the most important of several thousands of shrines dedicated the Shinto God of Rice. Also, people believed that foxes are Inari’s messengers. They felt a strong religious faith. Moreover, along the hiking trail, has the cozy restaurant of noodle soup. You can also try Inari sushi that is fried tofu. Therefore, your heart, taste, eyes are happy by Fushimi Inari-taisha.

My hometown and Summer Vacation

My hometown, Seoul, makes me happy and excited. Seoul is a very big city of in Korea. I often go to amusement parks such as Lotte World and Seoul land. When I go on the rides, I can relieve stress. It is always packed with many people. Moreover, foreign tourists always visit Myongdong and Insa-dong. It is famous for street food. Stick ice cream and Hodduk is very decilous. Seoul has a lot of sightseeing places. 63 building is the very highest building in Korea. When I go up to the 63th floor, I feel dizzy. So, we can see natural view in Seoul. When I was young, I sometimes climb Bukhan Mountain. Therefore, I always live in my hometown in the summer.

This summer vacation I went to the Youngildae beach in Pohang. I looked around the sea and heard the sea wind. That day the weather was cloudy so we were not hot. It was healing time. As soon as the exam was over, I traveled to Pohang. Pohang is my first destination on my summer vacation of the year. I go there with my university friends. After we have a good time at beach, we ate Mul-hoe. Mul-hoe is a wonderful food. It taste a little spicy, but refreshin and delicious. Unfortunately, It was expensive. Later, If I have a chance, I want to eat a lot. When I leave to Pohang, I miss it very much, because we stayed only one day at the most. I had a healing time at in Pohang.

Gyeongju is famous for its specialty food, Hawangnambread. Hwangnam Bread is a soft, light bread filled with sweet red bean paste. It was first baked in 1939 by Choi Yeong-hwa. You can buy Hwangnam bread at many shops around town, usually in boxes which can also be given as gifts. So, two weeks ago, I bought Hawangnam bread  for my family before I went to my hometown.  I don’t like the taste, but my family likes it. because Hwangnam bread taste very sweet. Hwangnam bread looks like Gyeongju bread so we do not get mixed.
